PURPOSE

A major loss can change everything and groups can provide valuable support during painful times. The IHP Grief and Coping Support Group provides clinical support, in a nonjudgmental environment, for people who have been impacted by, loss as they journey through the mourning process.

GOAL

The goal of the IHP Grief and Coping Support Group is to help individuals understand, not only the loss itself, but the impact the loss has had to them and their families. The IHP Grief and Coping Support Group allows individuals to develop an awareness by, sharing and listening to others with similar experiences. Most importantly, the IHP Grief and Coping Support Group can facilitate perspective to help guide the individuals forward “together” as they heal.

FORMAT

The IHP Grief and Coping Support Group  is a once a month bereavement support group, for individuals who have suffered loss, facilitated by a trained professional in a clinical setting. Up to 8 people can participate in a 90 minute group session, that will use traditional as well as, evidence based therapeutic methods in a clinical setting.

LOCATION. DATE/TIME

IHP Clinic 655 Harmon Loop Road Suite 108. Next to Shirley's Coffee Shop.

Every third Wednesday of each month from 6:00pm to 7:30pm.
